Data Deletion Request

Spritz Theory retains your messages and conversation context for 30 days, after which they are automatically deleted. You can request earlier deletion at any time by following the steps below.

How to request deletion

Email hello@spritztheory.com with the following information:

The Instagram username you used to message @spritz.theory
The subject line: Data deletion request
A short note confirming you want all data associated with your account deleted

What happens next: We will confirm receipt of your request within 2 business days and complete deletion within 7 business days. You will receive an email confirmation when the deletion is complete.

What gets deleted

All message text you have sent to @spritz.theory
All conversation history and context tied to your Instagram-scoped user ID
All metadata (timestamps, attachment types) associated with your messages

What we cannot delete

Messages stored by Instagram itself (your Instagram DM history with @spritz.theory) are governed by Meta's data policies, not ours. To delete those, use Instagram's own data deletion tools.

Aggregate, anonymized analytics that cannot be traced back to your user ID may be retained for service quality purposes.

Automatic deletion

Even without a deletion request, all per-user data is automatically deleted after 30 days as a matter of policy. See our Privacy Policy for the full retention schedule.
